About EngiCalcLab
EngiCalcLab offers free practical calculators for engineers and designers, covering piping, marine, CAD, Excel and unit conversions with formulas and examples.
Make everyday calculations simpler
EngiCalcLab is a free engineering calculation site that helps engineers and designers check repetitive calculations quickly and spend more time on design. Alongside each result, you can review the formula and the conditions used.
Use the tools directly in your browser without creating an account or installing software. The same tools and explanations are available in Korean, English and Japanese.
Practical tools in one place
The site brings together calculations frequently used by piping designers, marine engineers, CAD users, and mechanical and plant engineers. Calculate theoretical pipe weight, internal capacity and average velocity, vessel draft and trim, and the volumes of simple tank shapes.
You can also calculate drawing scales and coordinate distances, convert engineering units, and work with Excel text-formula helpers. Read the formulas, worked examples, instructions and engineering notes to check whether a tool suits your task.
Clear formulas and units
Calculations use SI units wherever practical, with conversion at input and output. Results update as you change inputs; invalid geometry and impossible values produce an error. Rounding is applied at the end for display.
The tools use basic theoretical shapes. Review manufacturing tolerances, operating conditions and project-specific corrections separately. Important design and fabrication decisions should also use applicable standards, manufacturer data and approved review procedures.
Inputs processed in your browser
Calculator and text-helper inputs are processed in your browser. You do not need to send values to an external calculation API or upload files, and input histories are not stored in a database.
When you share a link, its URL includes the inputs after # so the same conditions can be reopened. Anyone receiving the link can read these values, so check that it contains no confidential information before sharing.
Check results and help improve the tools
Calculation logic is separate from the interface and checked with automated tests against known values and invalid inputs. These checks do not replace engineering verification or approval.
If a result is unexpected, first review the input units and formula. When contacting us by email, include the tool name, input values and units, and expected result when reporting an issue. Reproducible examples help improve accuracy and usability.
